Metacarpus
2022
A series of three speculative tools/adornments for the hand, made from silver and brass.
Each object embodies a distinct future scenario. The works reflect on digitalization, climate change, and the transformation of the hand beyond its purely physical form.
Presented as future archaeological finds, the objects invite viewers to look back at them as remnants from different periods in time. Through this perspective, the series questions how human touch, function, and embodiment may evolve as technology and environmental conditions reshape our relationship to the body.
